Treasure Hunt – Game Show (1/4)

Treasure Hunt was a 1950′s game show aired first by ABC and later by NBC. The show ran from 1956-1959. This episode is believed to have aired on March 20, 1958. The rules are pretty straight forward but the game is very interesting. Contestants begin by competing in a quiz and then go on to pick one of many treasure chests containing prizes. The prizes revealed in this episode are quite nice. Host Jan Murray puts plenty of energy into the show and keeps the pace moving right along. All in all an excellent game show.
