Treasure Hunt

For our Family Home Evening last night, we discussed Following Heavenly Father’s commandments in order to receive the ultimate prize of Eternal Life with our family. As an object lesson, I made up a Treasure Hunt. We taught the kids that if they followed the clues, they’d receive the ultimate prize of Dessert at the end, lol. Ok, a bit of a stretch, but it was really fun. Sadly, my camera only takes 7 minutes of video, so I didn’t get the whole hunt, but this video shows the gyst of it. The last few clues took the kids to a bench in my room, the Trouble game in the game closet, the fish tank, and ultimately a carton of chocolate ice cream in the freezer. Later, we made sundaes of which Danny and I did not partake, of course!
