The Treasure Hunt

How should I set up a Treasure Hunt for a small group of young children in a classroom?
our classroom is not that big and limited places for the clues/treasure to hide.. only under the table/chair… im teaching directions:north south, etc. so this will be a follow up activity of that lesson.
this is for 6 yr olds… and no i cant let them go out because there will be activities done outside and my clues would be lost or be tampered with..and children might be distracted with whats going on around them
Does it have to be in the classroom? Can u not take it outside in the playground or on the field? Then they could run and move around -gives you more places to hide things!
In classroom-try inside cupboards doors, on ceiling, under pen pots etc…if they are hidden in hard to find places you could always make up clues to help them!

Is anyone else having a problem with the DVD on this question? I cannot get mine to enter any formula!
If you can give me the answer, I’ll give 10 points for the first reply.

Scavenger Hunt For Kids

treasure/SCAVENGER HUNT for kids- need riddles/clues!?
I am trying to play a treasure/scavenger hunt for 3 kids
grades: 6th, 3rd, and Kindergarten
I would like to keep it inside, but if its nice out maybe outside, but preferably just to like the mailbox or garage or front porch or something
i need some good riddles/clues that i can use, i have some but i want more, each kid will have there own clues and locations to go to
places like, under the kitchen table, under couch cushions, bathroom mirror, pillow on a bed, under blankets, by a tv, a fireplace, doll house
places like that, im not the best with making riddles so help would be great!
thanks!
I loved this game when I was little ( Still do
)
This can work in pairs or individual
Give the kids a small scrap piece of paper to begin with.
Write a word clue or mini doodle on the paper
For an example of a drawing you could draw the microwave with an arrow pointing inside. For an example of a word riddle you could say “You use me to warm food and don’t put metal in me.”
Once the kids idenifies the clue as inside the microwave they look inside the microwave and what do they find? ANOTHER CLUE! That clue should lead to another and another and another until they get to the last clue which leads them to their treasure!. Every kid/pair could get 10 or 20 different clues, harder clues for older kids and easier clues for the kindergartners. Or an average diffuclty. You could have an bonus prize for the first person/pair to find their treasure out of all the kids playing OR you could hand out the bonues prizes per grade.
Be sure to use arrows in your doodles and make it clear and understandable.
You can hide the clues pretty much everywhere.
Your examples are perfect.
You can also try:
Under or by digital clocks,
In drawers
Under the bed
In the Medicine cabinet
Under the rug,
Under the mouse/mousepad
Inside Books or on Bookshelves
In the Fridge
On the Windowsill
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!
Hope I helped and I hope I get 10 points…

Scavenger Hunt Games

Does anyone have any suggestions for a purse SCAVENGER HUNT game for a bridal shower?
I have a few variations of it on the Internet found, but he asked if anyone suggestions? Assign point values for certain products?
When I played the game at a baby shower. I have point cards with baby rattles on them. The person with the most points won a prize. Maybe you can do, point cards, as I have on the computer and place bouquets on ittle them. I guess you could ask for similar products. We asked for things like pictures of your children, condomns, pictures of friends / spouses, credit cards, link cards (LOL, for poorer women), etc. It's really a fun game.
